Apply for a contract

We like simplicity and convenience. Both for yourself and for us. So if you want to apply for an energy contract with us, we will ensure that this can be completed completely online. Calculate your new monthly amount first. Then choose 'Dynamic contract' and fill in your details. Finally, check and agree to the terms and conditions. We will then check your application. We will discuss any ambiguities and changes with you. Everything OK? Then you can sit back satisfied while we get to work for you.

Because as a new customer, we also arrange your new energy connection and/or switch. Of course we will keep you fully informed by e-mail. Start your energy application here.

Whether we proceed to an emergency connection depends on the situation. Is there a new home/living space and have you received a request from the regional network operator to arrange an energy supplier? In that case, we will proceed to an emergency connection, and you will have gas and electricity within a day, if all goes well. We do not accept urgent requests for situations other than those mentioned above. Know that the minimum reflection period is always fourteen days.

Do you have a supply agreement with Energie Monster for a definite period of time, and do you want to terminate it prematurely? Then we charge a cancellation fee. When entering into a supply agreement, you are responsible for being contract-free at the start of delivery. Any cancellation penalty imposed by the previous energy supplier is for your own account. We do not reimburse these. 

After confirmation of the delivery agreement, you have fourteen calendar days to consider. You don't have to explain the reason for your decision. Download the withdrawal form here. and fill it in. When the cooling-off period has expired, the supply agreement is irrevocable and cancellation free of charge is no longer possible.

Change contract

Yes, that's possible. For this, you can - up to two days before the current start date of delivery - contact our support department to request a new start date. 

To change the monthly amount or advance amount, please contact our support department. In consultation we can arrange a suitable new monthly amount. You contact us here.  

As soon as we receive a new request, we check the historical energy consumption, among other things. If after a while it appears that there is a mismatch between current and expected consumption, we can immediately change this. A reason for the mismatch may be, for example, that the house is highly insulated after the key transfer or that the destination has changed from a business object to a residential destination. 

Do you believe that your consumption should be estimated differently? Please let our support department know by sending us an adjustment request. 

How can I change my personal information?

You can easily change your personal details via our customer portal. You can easily change information such as your e-mail address, telephone number and billing address yourself.  

Do you want to change other data? But don't you have the option for that in your own customer environment? Mail your request to our support department. 

In some cases, the agreed connection date does not correspond to the actual connection date. A possible reason for a different connection date is because the commencement date you specified is before the end date of your current energy contract.

To prevent you from receiving a cancellation penalty, we leave it up to you when the energy contract should start. Do you want the connection date to start before the end of your current contract? Then the risk of a cancellation penalty lies with you.   

Are you moving and your energy contract will continue for a while? No problem. You simply take your energy contract with you to your new address. Simply notify us of your move via email. Based on the details of the new delivery address, we will provide an appropriate monthly amount for the energy needs at your new address.

Have you arranged your energy management in such a way that you no longer use gas? Then you can also decide to have your gas connection removed. You have a connection and transmission agreement (ATO) with your grid management that must be terminated. You must request the removal of your gas connection yourself via: www.mijnaansluiting.nl. The network operator will then remove the gas meter set-up and the connection pipe for you.

Is complete removal just a bit too rigorous? Then you can have the connection closed for a maximum period of 12 months. After this period of 12 months, you decide whether you need to reconnect or whether you want to permanently remove it. The latter is free of charge, but the network operator will charge you for the reconnection. Pay attention. After 12 months, you must actively submit the request for deletion via: www.mijnaansluiting.nl. Tell us from what date the network operator closes your gas connection so that we can adjust your energy contract and monthly amount accordingly.
